Making the Most of your Design Appointment

One of the most exciting phases of the home buying process is selecting the colors, materials and designer details to personalize your new home. To make choosing the right selections easier, we offer one-on-one interior design assistance at no additional cost!

Before your design appointment, you can utilize two features on your personal website, MyDWHome.com, to help you prepare for the decisions you will be making and maximize the time with your designer.

Lifestyle Questionnaire

The first step is to complete the brief Lifestyle Questionnaire at MyDWHome.com, which will help your designer get to know your preferences.

We’ll use the results from your Lifestyle Questionnaire to offer suggestions and help you truly make your house a home.

Your Wish List

It helps to think about selections you might want in your home prior to your design appointment. Researching the products we offer directly from MyDWHome.com and creating your Wish List are probably the best things you can do to prepare.

Building your Wish List before your design appointment can help with:

  • Easier appointments – You are already familiar with the available choices for your new home and you know which items you want to see in person.
  • Budgeting – Make sure you get the selections you want most in your new home.
  • Product information – Find detailed product information, photos, use and care guides, warranty information and even videos about the products available for your home.

Creating your Wish List allows you time to research available selections and discuss budget considerations in the privacy of your home. You’ll also be prepared with questions for your designer at your appointment.

Remember, if you have purchased a Quick Move-in Home, the construction stage of the home will affect the availability, cost and feasibility of your selections. Some or all of the selections may have already been made by David Weekley Homes. Please confirm with your Sales Consultant which changes or choices are allowed.
