Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed in final product All the David Weekley people were great to work with but we are disappointed in the final product. Indoor humidity levels are constantly between 65%-74% unless we run a dehumidifier non-stop and empty the water container every six hours. We've been told that's normal but those levels are unhealthy and promote mold growth. The quality of some of the materials and workmanship is lacking - much of the material used for trim was damaged when installed and simply painted over. Many of the doors in the home were not hung properly and don't stay open or rub against the door frame. There are areas where grout is missing and floor tiles are loose. We were very disappointed in how dirty the home was when we moved in and are still cleaning layers of dirt off baseboards, window blinds, doors, etc. We spent most of a weekend scrubbing and scraping grout off tile in all the showers. We are hopeful many of these issues will be resolved soon with the assistance of our warranty representative.

We have been disappointed with the Frigidaire products offered in the home, particularly the refrigerator, oven and stove top exhaust hood. We are having to replace the refrigerator and stove top Exhaust hood.

I bought my dream home sight unseen from GA at Thanksgiving 2023, and the closing in NC was on May 2, 2024. Wes and Mary Perry faithfully called me weekly with updates. Wes is efficient, professional, and considerate—and I could not be more pleased with my new home at Encore at Streamside—which I named JUBILEE, because it is a celebration of my new season in life. My Chihuahua-terrier mix Pepper and I bask in the simple eloquence of this beautifully built home. Thank you Wes, and God bless you. Judith Maxwell

The weekly calls and photos were a nice touch, showing the team's commitment to keeping us up-to-date on all construction-related progress. DWH's design center allows you to see and touch virtually any option that can be added to your home, a huge plus when so many tough choices exist. Strongly recommend the DWH team to anyone looking to purchase in their neighborhoods!!

From start to finish, the entire David Weekley Team made the buying and building of our new home at Encore at Streamside in Waxhaw, NC as easy an experience as possible. Their professional and caring approach regarding every detail through our decision to buy at Encore to when we moved in was as seamless and easy as possible. We are thrilled with our new home!
