Living in a DWH community in Sarasota puts you in the center of all that the area has to offer. Start your morning with a walk or bike ride on either the Venetian Waterway Trail or the Legacy Trail, then stroll around the De Soto National Memorial. Children will enjoy setting their imagination free at the interactive children's exhibit where they can actually step into suits of armor and pretend to be early explorers. A short walk to the beach will have you ending the day relaxing on the sand with a beverage as you watch the sunset over the water.

While summers in Florida are notably hot and humid, fall, winter, and spring bring the temperatures that make Florida so popular. Winter temps rarely fall below 50 F or get much above the 70s. There are frequent summer thundershowers, but they are generally short duration and low intensity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful home in serene small wooded neighborhood Homebuilding in the time of covid with supply chain issues and labor shortages was definitely an experience we won't forget. While our home took much longer to complete than our builder had anticipated, it was worth the wait. We were able to watch the progress from vacant lot to completed home. There are some outstanding construction items that still need to be completed but patience and flexibility is a good mind set. Our builder went above and beyond to resolve construction problems. Great guy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Less Than Stellar We had a number of things that we were disappointed with: We upgraded cabinets and counters; the hinges seem to be inferior and the the Whirlpool appliances also are of a very low grade. The elevation/drainage on both sides of the home were improperly dug out on the day of our Walk Through which also coincided with our Closing Date. Needless to say, proper drainage work needs to be done on this property. We are in the house 7 weeks and the Punch List is yet to be completed or addressed.

Build quality is great, they pay attention to details and have multiple quality checks on the property before closing to make sure buyers are happy (the way it should be). Crislyn was amazing during the whole process, always making sure we were informed about the status of the home, taking care of our requests and answering any questions we had. Bryan is on top of things at the community, he does a great job and pays attention to details. Loan and closing processes were very smooth. We definitely enjoyed our experience and love our home.

The materials and appliances etc, were top notch. Working with the David Weekly staff was a pleasure. They were always there for whatever question or thing that we needed. We highly recommend this builder.
