DAVID WEEKLEY HOMES ANNOUNCES INAUGURAL TURKEY DRIVE
JACKSONVILLE, FL (October 16, 2013): David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest privately-held home builder, is helping to make the holidays brighter for those in need by collecting frozen turkeys and monetary donations, benefiting Farm Share.
The David Weekley Homes and Friends Turkey Drive will take place on Monday, November 10, 2014, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Weekley’s Jacksonville Division Office 680 Crosswater Parkway, Ponte Vedra, FL 32081. Refreshments will be provided and great prizes will be raffled off during the November 10 event.
Farm Share uses inmate labor and volunteers to re-sort and package an abundance of surplus food and distributes it to individuals, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, churches and other organizations feeding the hungry in Florida — free of charge.
Donations made during the David Weekley Homes and Friends Turkey Drive will allow families in need to enjoy Thanksgiving in the comfort of their own homes.
