DAVID WEEKLEY HOMES BEGINS CONSTRUCTION ON MASSEY MODELS

Builder Enters Phase Two of Fort Mill Community

Charlotte, NC (March 9, 2016): David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest privately-held builder, has begun construction on its two newest models in the Fort Mill community of Massey. Located on Doby’s Bridge Road, the new phase in this community will feature more than 150 homes by the builder.

David Weekley Homes has already sold more than 73 homes in The Estates of Massey since opening phase one in summer 2012.

“We are investing in great Charlotte locations where people want to live,” said Mark Gibbs, Charlotte division president for David Weekley Homes. “These new communities will help us continue our commitment to build our customers’ dream homes, and offer both communities and homes that enhance our customers’ lives.”

In phase two, the builder is offering two new product lines, along with two new homesite sizes, and will adapt current offerings to complement the one- and two-story homes already in the community.

From Weekley’s Traditional Collection and situated on a 70-foot homesite, The Daughtery will feature four bedrooms, three full baths and one half bath within two stories when construction is complete. This 3,300 square foot home will also include a guest suite and an owner’s retreat on the main floor, thee-car tandem garage, study, kitchen overlooking the family room, dining area with adjoining outdoor living space on the covered rear porch, covered front porch and an upstairs retreat. The Daughtery will serve as the primary sales office for Massey.

David Weekley Homes is currently building two model homes in Massey, including The Daughtery, which will serve as the sales office and is situated on a 70-foot homesite.
The Melvin is one of two model homes under construction in the Fort Mill community of Massey.

Situated on a 60-foot homesite, The Melvin will showcase one of the floor plans available from the Village Collection and will be 2,200 square feet. Serving as the sales center for Massey, The Melvin will offer three bedrooms, two full baths, one half bath, a formal study, two-car garage, and a kitchen overlooking the dining area, family room and covered rear porch.

The new phase will be closer to Doby’s Bridge Elementary School and the Fort Mill Bypass, scheduled to open in Spring 2016. Residents will also enjoy a variety of amenities, including a recreation center with 24-hour gym access, a clubhouse with movie theater and kitchen, a community pool with a lazy river, water slide and children’s pool.
