David Weekley Homes Breaks Ground in Deer Run Preserve
SALT LAKE CITY, UT (January 22, 2016): David Weekley Homes recently broke ground on Deer Run Preserve, a new community located on East Highland Drive in Draper City.
Guests in attendance included Troy Walker, Mayor of Draper City; Rod Staten, Division President at David Weekley Homes; Walter Watson, Area President at David Weekley Homes; members of the Draper City Community Development and Draper City Council Members.
“David Weekley Homes is excited to partner with Draper City as we develop a beautiful new community with homes to suit the needs and lifestyles of residents,” Staten said. “We are also looking forward to building our award-winning designs and providing outstanding customer service to our homebuyers.”
Developed by David Weekley Homes, Deer Run Preserve will include a total of 79 new single-family homes, many with Salt Lake Valley views. Many of the one-, two- and three-story homes will feature Craftsman-style exteriors. The community will include a central park with a grassy playing area, benches slides and swings. The Draper/Highland Drive Trail System runs through the community, connecting on the east and west sides of the project with access to the Corner Canyon area.
Sales are expected to begin in late summer 2016 and the model home grand opening is expected in October 2016.
