DAVID WEEKLEY HOMES BREAKS GROUND ON FIRST IN-TOWN, CENTRAL LIVING COMMUNITY

Charlotte, NC (May 5, 2015): David Weekley Homes officially broke ground on Central Living at Iverson and celebrated with a groundbreaking ceremony with attendance from local dignitaries and district city council member Patsy Kinsey.

Located in Dilworth, Central Living at Iverson will feature 22 Craftsman-inspired townhomes, and a fully-furnished model home and sales office. Central Living at Iverson will offer Dilworth-inspired front porches, two-car rear-load garages, second-story entertaining spaces and third-floor private spaces. Each of the four floor plans available will feature signature David Weekley Homes items, such as large kitchen islands and open- floor plans, with 10-foot ceilings, and flex options, a second-story balcony and/or study.

We are excited to add our community to the fabric of Dilworth and to provide low-maintenance, walkable homeownership opportunities to Charlotte’s sophisticated homebuyers,” said Mark Gibbs, division president for David Weekley Homes.

With the groundbreaking, Weekley Homes has begun construction on the first of the five buildings that will make up Central Living at Iverson, as well as their model home, The Twinleaf, which is scheduled to be completed in late June. The community is expected to be open for sales in late May.

David Weekley Homes will also begin construction on several other townhome communities soon, including Central Living at Carson with 11 Georgetown-inspired homes with fourth-floor rooftop terraces and skyline views of Uptown, and Central Living at Ideal Way with 21 modern/metro-inspired townhomes located in South End behind Mac’s Speed Shop.
