David Weekley Homes Earns Volume Builder of the Year from Greater Houston Builders Association

Houston, TX (January 21, 2019): David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest privately-held home builder, is proud to announce that it won Volume Builder of the Year award for 2018 from the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA). This is the fifth time David Weekley Homes has been recognized with this award from the GHBA.

A partnership between HomeAid Houston, David Weekley Homes and other local builders, BuildAid is a nonprofit organization that significantly reduce the price of rebuilding Harvey-damaged homes by offering materials and contractors at cost to homeowners. Under the leadership of David Weekley and with the financial support of The David Weekley Family Foundation, BuildAid has successfully restored more than 100 homes to-date hit by Hurricane Harvey. In recognition of their post-Harvey efforts, BuildAid was awarded a Presidential Citation.
