At the end of the 45-day campaign, David Weekley Homes presented the non-profit organization with a check for $2,000, which translates into $20,000 worth of school supplies for area children and teachers.

Established in 1998, A Gift For Teaching aims to improve public education by providing teachers and students in need with free school supplies. The non-profit serves 330 public schools and has distributed $80 million in school supplies in 16 years.
