David Weekley Homes is Bringing Self-Developed Townhomes to Ocoee
Orlando, FL (October 22, 2020): David Weekley Homes, one of the nation’s largest privately held builders, recently closed on a deal for 21 acres of raw land in Ocoee, FL. The community, Lake Meadow Landing, is being developed by the builder and will offer 79 suburban townhomes.
“We’re happy to be building in Ocoee again after a seven-year break,” said Brent Bartholomew, division president for David Weekley Homes in Orlando. “We look forward to breaking ground on this exciting project in November.”
Once complete, Lake Meadow Landing will feature low-maintenance living in two-story attached townhomes with two-car garages, and a community pool. The gated community’s grand opening is expected in fall 2021.
“We’re excited to develop a new townhome community in Ocoee, a great suburban enclave which is just inside the 429 beltway,” said Drew Abel, land acquisition manager for David Weekley Homes in Orlando. “Lake Meadow Landing will be a good opportunity for homebuyers who want the high quality of a David Weekley home at a more affordable price point.”
