David Weekley Homes Now Building in SouthRidge

Charlotte, NC (November 21, 2017): David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest privately-held builder, is now building in its second Ballantyne-area community of SouthRidge, which is located on North Community House Road adjacent to Ballantyne Country Club. The builder is also expected to open its model home, The Henderson, for tours in mid-December.

The Henderson, a two-story home with 3,085 square feet of living space, will include four bedrooms, four full baths, a retreat area, outdoor living space and a three-car tandem garage. Other features include an extended covered porch, super shower in the owner's bath and an extended covered porch on the second floor.

SouthRidge will offer 130 new homes on 55-foot homesites, including 27 single-family homes, 33 paired villa homes and 27 townhomes. Sales have begun for the paired villas and single-family homes and townhome sales will begin in early 2018.

Priced from the $570s, single-family homes range in size from 2,900 to 3,900 square feet, with paired villas priced from the $455s and four floor plans with 2,500-2,900 square feet. The townhomes will range in size from 2,100 to 2,800 square feet. The paired villas and single-family homes both offer owner’s retreats on the main level.

SouthRidge residents can enjoy proximity to shopping, dining and entertainment at Ballantyne Village, Toringdon, StoneCrest at Piper Glen and Blakeney. Homeowners will also be in walking distance to Ballantyne Corporate Park and the Morrison Family YMCA. Students attend South Charlotte schools, including Ardrey Kell High School.
