David Weekley Homes Partners with St. Baldrick's Foundation for Resident Appreciation

Tampa, FL (March 5, 2018): David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest privately-held builder, is celebrating its residents in Encore at FishHawk Ranch with month-long homeowner appreciation events, culminating with a head-shaving event on Saturday, April 21, benefitting the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. Encore at FishHawk Ranch is a 55+ lifestyle community within the master-planned FishHawk Ranch.

Homeowners within the community are invited to participate in the second annual flamingo decorating contest and other events, concluding with the fundraiser for St. Baldrick’s. Encore by David Weekley Homes set a fundraising goal of $5,000 to donate toward pediatric cancer research.

The month-long events are an initiative of the company’s CARE program, which is a charitable and volunteer program that joins team members, homeowners, homebuyers and community partners with nonprofits to make a positive impact in the lives of everyone it touches and in all the communities it builds through its purpose, Building Dreams, Enhancing Lives. This is accomplished by company team members volunteering countless hours to different organizations in their communities and by The David Weekley Family Foundation donating more than $100 million to a variety of organizations through the U.S. and abroad over the past 20 years.
