Bridgeland Sparks Buyer Interest With Power To The People

by David Weekley Homes

(Cypress, TX – July 7, 2012)        Bridgeland is sizzling right now with dozens of homes available for move-in and an electrifying summer promotion that literally gives “Power to the People.”

Through the annual sales event, July new-home buyers can receive a discount of up to $5,000 from participating builders. Another powerful component of the promotion is a public drawing for a $1,000 VISA gift card. Prospective buyers can enter the drawing at any model home and at the Bridgeland Welcome Center and may register at more than one model to increase their chances of winning. Homes are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily Monday through Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday, with the Welcome Center closing at 5 p.m. each day. The incentive continues through the entire month of July.

Buyers can select from a variety of home styles in Bridgeland, including single-family designs, custom homes and the architecturally diverse palette of designs available in Lakeland Heights, the community’s traditional neighborhood development. More than 30 homes are ready for immediate move-in or will be ready by month’s end.

Home prices in Bridgeland range from the $170,000s to more than $1 million from a slate of builders respected locally and nationally: D.R. Horton, Darling Homes, David Weekley Homes, Highland Homes, J. Kyle Homes, Lennar Homes, Meritage Homes, Partners in Building, Perry Homes, Trendmaker Homes and Village Builders. Custom home builders in Bridgeland include GPS Custom Homes, Ronny Carroll Custom Homes and Tommy Bailey Homes. Sixteen models are located in Bridgeland’s convenient model home park and another two are located in Lakeland Heights

Young residents in Bridgeland attend schools in the Cy-Fair Independent School District, including Warner Elementary, Smith Middle School and Cypress Ranch High School, all located within a multi-campus site that is across the street from Bridgeland’s main entrance. Under construction now is the development’s first on-site school, Cypress-Fairbank’s Elementary No. 53, which should open for the 2013 school year.

Bridgeland has won many development awards, including a Community of the Year Silver Award from the National Association of Home Builders in The Nationals’ 2011 competition and Developer of the Year in the Texas Association of Builders’ 2011 Star Awards for a second consecutive win. This year, Bridgeland was named Developer of the Year by the Greater Houston Builders Association and won a Gold Award in The Nationals for its environmentally sensitive landscape design.
