Memorial High School Ranked Among The Top 1,000 High Schools In The Nation
by David Weekley Homes
HOUSTON, TX – David Weekley Homes announces that Memorial High School in Houston, Texas, has been ranked among the top 1,000 public high schools in the nation, according to Newsweek Magazine’s “America’s Best High Schools 2012.” Memorial High School ranked 307 on the list.
In all, more than 2,300 schools were assessed to produce the final list of the top 1,000 schools. Newsweek Magazine compiled this list by taking the total number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate or Cambridge (AICE) tests given at a school each year, then divided that number by the number of graduating seniors each spring. Since 1998, Newsweek has collected this data in conjunction with the Washington Post.
