How do I register for updates on new homes in communities I’m interested in?

As you explore the communities on our website, you’ll receive a pop-up notification inviting you to chat with one of our Internet Advisors. You can let the Internet Advisor know which communities you’re interested in receiving updates about. For communities that are coming soon, you can fill out a VIP interest list form on that community’s page on our website to receive updates.

You can also set up email notifications for updates based on your home preferences by signing up for an account on our website here.

How can I find out about homes for sale that are already under construction or completed?

Each of our cities has a page that lists homes that are under construction or complete, which are our Quick Move-in Homes. To search for available homes, navigate to Quick Move-in Homes on the Find a Home dropdown at the top of our website.

Do you have virtual tours on your website?

Yes, we do. These virtual tours offer you a 360-degree view of rooms and/or exterior surroundings of our homes. You will see links throughout our website on floor plans that have virtual tours.

I want to relocate to a city where you build. Can I start the building process before I move?

We build homes for people out of town every day. You will initially have to visit to sign the paperwork with your Sales Consultant. You will then need to meet with your Builder to go over your selections. After that, your Builder will be in contact with you to update you weekly on the status of your home.

Why do you offer only certain floor plans in one community and not in another?

Most master-planned communities are governed by the developer. We have to meet certain guidelines in a community and therefore may be limited in our decisions.

Can I make any changes to a specific floor plan?

Most of our floor plans offer several FlexSpace℠ options you can add to your home. FlexSpace options allow you to personalize your home to fit the way you live. They are generally structural options, such as media rooms, Bonus Rooms, Outdoor Living Areas and more. Ask a Sales Consultant to see what FlexSpace options are available for your desired floor plan.

What is a Bonus Room?

It is a room that may be a FlexSpace option to add on certain floor plans. It’s usually located upstairs and can serve as a home theater room, work-out room, playroom, game room, hobby room or an additional all-around gathering room.

Do you sell your floor plans?

Our floor plans are not for sale. They have been developed after years of preparation and discovery about how people live in and use their home. In addition, every homesite has particular characteristics and soil conditions that require engineering and attention to detail, affecting the suitability of a floor plan to the site itself.

How can I share a floor plan with a friend?

If you see a floor plan you like, click on the "Share Plan" button, and you can choose to share it via social media or email.

Are garages included in the square footage?

We do not include garage space in our square footages.

What's the difference between a regular David Weekley home and a Central Living by David Weekley home, an Encore by David Weekley home, an Imagination by David Weekley home, a Custom Classics by David Weekley home and a Build on Your Lot by David Weekley home?

Whether you’re buying your first home, building the home for your empty nest or anything in between, David Weekley Homes offers almost limitless options to ensure that you find exactly what you’re looking for.

Our traditional David Weekley homes feature single-family floor plans designed to grow with your family and offer the best in Design, Choice and Service.

Our other collections of homes offer the same quality, value and service that David Weekley Homes is well-known for, plus other distinguishing characteristics:

  • Central Living by David Weekley homes are well-appointed, low-maintenance homes in prime, central locations near established dining, shopping and employment.
  • Encore by David Weekley homes are built specifically in amenity-rich neighborhoods for 55+ Homeowners only. They provide an ideal balance of livability and outstanding design to optimize a low-maintenance lifestyle.
